About the coffee
This distinctive microlot originates from Finca El Cipres, located in the renowned coffee-growing region of Nueva Segovia in northern Nicaragua. Owned and managed by third-generation producer Isacio Javier Albir Vilchez, the farm combines traditional coffee cultivation with a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
The Parainema variety is grown between 1,160 and 1,400 meters above sea level and processed using an anaerobic natural method, enhancing sweetness, body, and fruit expression. The result is a beautifully balanced coffee with a creamy texture and approachable character.
In the cup, expect notes of ripe blueberry, sweet cream, and milk chocolate. Its medium body and low acidity create a smooth and comforting drinking experience while maintaining enough complexity to keep every sip interesting.
Finca El Cipres is also recognized for its environmental efforts, including large-scale reforestation projects and the cultivation of coffee under diverse shade trees. This dedication to both quality and sustainability is reflected in every cup.
Tasting Notes: Blueberry, Cream, Milk Chocolate
Roaster’s Recommendation: Developed as an Omni Roast, this coffee offers excellent versatility. As a filter coffee, it showcases sweet berry notes and a creamy texture.
